The Municipality of Savignano sul Rubicone The municipality of Savignano sul Rubicone, in the last few years, has been highly active in its promotion of the Visual Arts, with exhibitions,lectures and seminars, cultural exchanges between specialist instititions and art schools both in Europe and and beyond.
In particular, Portfolio in Pazza has long been a reference point for all those interested in the Visual Arts, be they Critics, Artists, professional operators or just simply enthusiasts Ð a true festival of imagery and photography. It constitutes an ongoing workshop for artistic research, special services for conservation and processing, as well as documenting local activity and assessing collections and portfolios.

With its concept as a meeting point, Portfolio in Piazza puts photographers and their milieu in a position to exhibit their own work, organise discussions with colleagues, show videos of original and unedited material, with a series of round table discussions with publishers,photographers, special guests, with a different theme each year.

The ÒVecchia PescheriaÓ Centre (The Old Fish Market) has been recently completely restored and now functions as an archive for the visual arts and specialist library, with a database and secretariat which is available for consultational needs.
Photography Club Ò Cultura e ImmagineÓ
The club ÒCultura e ImmagineÓ was founded in 1989 and aims particularly, through its membership, for a different vision from the traditional emphasis on competitions and prizes, concentrating currently on courses in photography,projection cycles,and in particular, and with considerable success,the organisation of the ÒMeet the ArtistÓ series. Several collective and personal membersÕ exhibitions have been held both in Italy and abroad. The club collaborates, in perpetua, with the Municipal Authorities of Savignano sul Rubicone in the organisation of Portfolio in Piazza
